Send a note

Bugs, questions, ideas, or a flower you wish existed — all welcome. If you are reporting something broken, your device and iOS version, and what you were doing at the time, will help track it down faster.

Common questions

A plan did not notify me

Check that notifications are still allowed in Settings › Plans › Notifications. Worth knowing too: Nudge plans deliberately stop for the night, and there is a limit on how many follow-ups arrive in a day, so a plan can be waiting quietly rather than failing. Alarm-tier plans need the alarm permission, which is separate from notifications.

An alarm did not ring in silent mode or a Focus

Alarm-tier plans use Apple's system alarms, which need their own permission. If it was declined at first launch, you can grant it in Settings › Plans. Quiet and Nudge plans are not designed to break through a Focus — that is what the Alarm tier is for.

My garden is not the same on my other device

Syncing runs through your own private iCloud, so both devices need to be signed in to the same Apple Account with iCloud Drive on. It can take a moment to catch up after a change, and it will not sync at all without a connection.

Can I get a plan back after deleting it?

Not from within the app. Deleting is immediate and there is no bin to restore from. If a whole day looks wrong rather than one plan, get in touch before deleting anything else.

Why did my flower turn green again?

That is not a bug. A repeating plan starts each new day green, waiting to be tended, and turns its true colour once you complete it. Nothing is lost — the week's blooms are still in your weekly recap.

Where do the flowers come from?

Each plan is assigned one for life. Changing a plan's tier reshapes it into a relative from the same family, so it stays recognisably the same plant.

Reporting something broken

The most useful bug report says what you expected, what happened instead, and whether it happens every time. If it involves a specific plan, its tier and timing are worth mentioning. Screenshots always help.

Plans keeps your data on your device and in your own iCloud, so there is no way to look at your garden from this end. A bug report is the only view into what went wrong.

Requesting a feature

Welcome, and read. Plans is deliberately built without streaks, scores or a nagging mode, so those are unlikely to arrive — but describing the problem underneath often leads somewhere better.

Response time

Usually a few days. Plans is a solo project, so there is no ticket number and no queue. If a week passes with no reply, send it again.
