Privacy Policy

Plans does not collect anything about you.

Last updated 31 August 2026 · Applies to Plans for iPhone and iPad

Nothing you write in Plans is sent anywhere except your own iCloud.

Your plans live on your device. If you use iCloud, they also sync through your own private iCloud account. There is no analytics, no tracking, no advertising, and no account to create.

What Plans stores, and where

Everything you put into Plans — the names of your plans, when they are due, which flower they grew into, and whether you have tended them — is stored on your device.

If you are signed in to iCloud, that same information also syncs through Apple's iCloud service so your garden follows you between your iPhone and iPad. It is written to your private iCloud database. That is your storage, tied to your Apple Account, and no one else can read it. If you would rather it stayed on one device, signing out of iCloud or turning iCloud off for Plans stops the syncing.

Your settings — your preferred times of day, chosen sounds, and whether you want the Live Activity — are stored on your device in the same way.

What Plans does not do

  • No analytics or usage tracking of any kind.
  • No advertising, and no advertising identifiers.
  • No third-party SDKs collecting data in the background.
  • No accounts, no sign-up, no email address required.
  • No selling or sharing of your information.

Plans has no server of its own. The only network the app touches is Apple's iCloud, on your behalf and into your own account.

Permissions Plans asks for

Notifications

So Quiet and Nudge plans can appear on your lock screen. Notifications are scheduled and delivered on your device. Their contents are not sent anywhere.

Alarms

So an Alarm-tier plan can ring even in silent mode or a Focus. This uses Apple's system alarm feature and stays on your device.

Background refresh

So the garden and your lock-screen Live Activity are up to date when you next look at them. No data leaves the device when this runs.

Plans does not ask for your location, contacts, photos, microphone, camera, calendars, or health data, and it cannot read any of them.

Children

Plans is suitable for all ages and collects nothing from anyone, children included.

Deleting your information

Deleting the app removes everything it stored on that device. To remove the synced copy as well, delete the app's data from iCloud in Settings › your name › iCloud › Manage Account Storage on your device. Nothing is held anywhere else, so there is no deletion request to send.

Your rights

Privacy laws such as the GDPR and the CCPA give you the right to see, correct, export, or delete the personal data a company holds about you. Plans holds none, so there is nothing to disclose or erase. Your own copy is yours to edit or delete at any time, directly in the app.

The suggestion box on this site

The support page has a box for sending a note. What you type there — the message, and your email address if you choose to give one — is delivered by Web3Forms, a relay service that passes it on and does not use it for anything else. Messages are kept only as long as it takes to answer them. The box sets no cookies, and using it is entirely optional: nothing on this site requires you to identify yourself.

Changes to this policy

If Plans ever changes how it handles data, this page will be updated before that change ships, and the date at the top will tell you when. If a future version were to collect anything at all, it would ask you first.

Getting in touch

Questions about privacy, or anything else, can go through the suggestion box on the support page.
